Why are food plots important?

Nothing can beat the overall attraction level of a well grown food plot.   There are very few properties in existence that wouldn't benefit from some type of forage planting for deer.  But given how attractive food plots are, that attraction level needs to be managed and properly planned for.  Food plots will help to define the daily movement patterns of the deer on your property, so understanding not just how to plant them, but where to plant them is crucial.  A properly designed property has well planned out food plots that help set the stage for a successful hunt.
